Composition

One dose of vaccine contains virus of Classical Swine Fever, strain LK-М ≥ 2,0 lg TID₅₀.

Pharmaceutical form

Lyophilisate or lyophilisate and solvent.

Immunological properties

Post-vaccination protection develops on 4-6th day after immunization and lasts for at least one year.

Target species

Swine.

Indications

Active immunization of clinically healthy pigs against Classical Swine Fever (CSF) in safe and threatened for CSF farms.

Interaction with other preparations

Vaccination with other vaccines should be done at least 10 days before or 10 days after administration of the vaccine against CSF.

Special precautions (in the period of gestation)

At threat of the disease sows are vaccinated once regardless of gestation term and term of lactation. The vaccine does not adversely affect these periods.

Route of administration and dosage

The vaccine is administered intramuscularly in the neck "behind the ear" or into inner side of thigh. Just prior to use, the vaccine is reconstituted by "Solvent for live vaccines" or saline solution in the rate of 2.0 ml per dose.

Pigs are vaccinated:

• Sows and breeding boars: 15-10 days before insemination (mating);
• Piglets: twice, first time at age of 45-60 days with a booster vaccination at age of 80-100 days.

A single vaccination of gilts aged 80-100 days is possible in farms with CSF-stable epizootic situation.

Further on the pigs are to be vaccinated by single dose every year.

Withdrawal period

0 days. No vaccine reactions.

Self life

24 months. When dissolved vaccine should be used within 4 hours after reconstitution.
