BIOTESTLAB is a partner of the forum "Current issues of anesthesiology of dogs and cats"

The leader of the veterinary drugs market BIOTESTLAB became an official partner of the forum "Current issues of anesthesiology of dogs and cats". The event, organized by the Ukrainian School of Veterinary Medicine (USVM), gathered almost 80 participants in Kyiv.

The forum featured 6 reports from leading Ukrainian veterinarians specializing in pet anesthesiology. Particular attention was paid to the anesthesia of dogs and cats with neurological pathologies, and eye diseases, as well as the anesthesia of dwarf dog breeds during neurosurgical and orthopedic operations. The speakers shared their experiences, discussed interesting cases, and at the end of the event held a Q&A session, answering questions from the participants.

"BIOTESTLAB" presented non-inhalation anesthesia Relax, the only veterinary solution of propofol 1% in Ukraine. The focus is on the use of anesthetics in geriatric patients. A detailed analysis of clinical cases, as well as control points of the animal's physiological indicators during surgery, was conducted by Tamila Zvenigorodska, PhD in veterinary sciences, associate professor of the Department of Surgery and Obstetrics of the Poltava State Agrarian University.

Today, the product portfolio of the BIOTESTLAB includes 130 names of veterinary immunobiologicals and chemical pharmaceuticals. Among them are 15 products for pets. In particular, for patient medical support before and after surgery. These are the immunostimulant Stimulus, the antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agent Spectran, liver protection agents (Gepax, Hepacarnitol), and body restoration agent (L-cyn).

Pet products are exported to Turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE, etc. In total, BIOTESTLAB products are presented in 20 countries around the world.

Participation in the forum is the first experience of cooperation with the Ukrainian School of Veterinary Medicine, an educational space created in 2023 with the assistance of USAVA to support students and postgraduate education of veterinarians.
